Welcome to Sault Malayalee Association
Sault Malayalee Association (SMA) is a vibrant non-profit community group formed by and for the Malayalees of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. We celebrate Kerala's culture, organize festivals like Onam and Vishu, and support newcomers through events, guidance, and unity.
Since the arrival of the first Malayalee students in 2016, the community has grown steadily with more students, working professionals, and families joining. With this growth came the need for an official platform — thus, SMA was born. We are proud to serve as a cultural and social hub for all Malayalees in the region.
